Checkers began their flow arts journey in 2011 in Denver, Colorado. Meeting a vibrant community, they picked up fire fans and haven’t put them down since. They have developed a unique spinning style that combines traditional weaves with technical symmetry breakdowns. Following their love of flow arts, Checkers also spins hoops, dragon staff, and poi. Since 2023, they have brought several workshops to events and groups in the Pacific Northwest and Lower Mainland, and also offer 1-1 lessons to local fan spinners.
